Client: Happy Doggo
Perth, WA, Australia
What makes a happy dog? Running around the park playing fetch, enjoying the best treats for their growth, and receiving plenty of cuddles and attention. The result? Wagging tails, smiling faces, and happy hoomans. Combine all of this together, and you get Happy Doggo—a treat and toy subscription box designed for your fur-baby’s growth, stimulation, and excitement.
The concept for Happy Doggo came to me while dog-sitting my fur-nephew, Baloo, a playful golden retriever. I imagined a monthly subscription box that would provide paw-rents with curated products from different brands, helping them discover new favourites for their pets.
The branding needed to reflect the same energy and joy that Baloo brings into every room. I aimed for something playful and fun, generating excitement—just like a happy dog! The logo design evolved as I added personal touches. I used the same letter for the H and Y, transforming them into wagging tails, symbolising that Happy Doggo caters to all breeds. When the letter G didn’t quite fit, flipping it backwards revealed the shape of a dog’s snout, adding a perfect brand mark variation.
For this project, I created a full branding suite, including box packaging, tissue paper design, stickers, a website landing page, and logo variations that perfectly represent the joyful spirit of the brand.
