Pure Garden Honey holds a special place in my heart, not only because my partner and I have always had a jar in our cupboard, but because it’s produced by his grandparents right in their backyard. Colin, his grandfather, wasn’t just beekeeping for family and friends—his honey is award-winning and even sold to local businesses.
The original branding was simple and unpretentious, with basic labels that let the honey speak for itself. When tasked with giving Pure Garden a refresh, I wanted to maintain its authenticity while elevating its visual identity.
The new branding features Colin’s image on the label, honoring the face behind the business. It also reflects the essence of where the honey is grown—drawing inspiration from the sea and the gardens surrounding their home. The design is versatile enough to expand beyond honey, allowing the brand to grow with them.
